The Screaming, the Zoomies, and My Profound Stillness

The Screaming, the Zoomies, and My Profound Stillness

The humans are screaming at the television and I am here for every decibel of it.

Green shirts running. Ball flying. Dad jumps off the sofa. Mom makes sounds I have never heard before. The energy in this room could power the bird feeder for a week and I am absorbing all of it through my paws.

Something scored. Everything is loud. The cookies are forgotten on the counter but I cannot leave this moment. This is better than cookies. This is better than the squeaker. This is human zoomies and they do not even know they are doing it.

Gus is completely unbothered on his sofa. How is he sleeping through this symphony of chaos. More running. More screaming. Dad is standing again. The remote got thrown.

I am vibrating.
